| This was my first Nitro truck. I've had Nitro cars before but wanted to step it up in the extremeness. This truck is built pretty well. The break-in instructions are clear and easy to understand. I spent 2 hours doing it the right way and therefore am experiencing no problems whatsoever with the truck. Mine has the easy start kit installed so start up is a breeze. The only problem is i broke the front knuckle on the first jump I attempted. Surprisingly most of the parts on this truck are plastic. I would expect something so expensive to be metal and heavy duty. But then again that would add to the weight and ultimately slow down the truck. I replaced the knuckles with aluminum ones from my local hobby shop. I feel like the knuckles should at least come aluminum from the factory. Also keep in mind this is a truck and not a sports car. On the street its very prone to flipping over on turns. On dirt or grass though is a whole other story. It's ridiculous how well it handles. You will love this truck. The price here on Amazon is pretty high. I purchased a brand new one from my local hobby shop for $290 + Tax. Just something to keep in mind. |
